Lynne Goocey, APRN

Lynne has resided in the Cincinnati area for 12 years since relocating from Chicago in 1998. She received a diploma in nursing from Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH, her BSN from Xavier University and her Advanced Nurse Practitioner degree from Northern Kentucky University.

Lynne has had over 25 years of diverse experience in critical care nursing. Her critical care experience has included Trauma at University Hospital in Cincinnati for over 10 years, medical/cardiology/and pre-transplant staff at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Chicago and neurology and burn ICU experience at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She was certified as a CCRN (Critical Care RN) for 20 plus years.

She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the honor Society of nursing, and has been involved in numerous quality improvement and research projects at University Hospital. She was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award at NKU while she was completing her Masters of Science in Nursing degree.

She has additionally served as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor.
In recent years Lynne has been part of the medical staff at The Christ Hospital serving as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Oncology as well as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner at Mercy Hospital Anderson.

Lynne is very passionate about health and well being and has a keen focus on disease prevention and management.

She joined the Medical Staff of Tri-State Gastroenterology Associates in 2011.
